For what it's worth, I did a little bit of detective work for you. DavidSparks.com appears to owned by "David Helm Sparks" (age 60) of Sioux City, IA. Have you tried contacting him to see if he'd be interested in selling it? His domain is up for renewal here in November and he clearly goes by "Dave" on all of his other online identities instead of "David", so maybe you could use that as leverage. The downside is that he appears to have a son named "David Jonathan Sparks" (age 31), which he might be saving the domain name for.
